Clearlink Celebrates National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day
In celebration of National Chocolate Chip Day last week, CLEARLINK encouraged its employees to fill out an Employee Engagement Survey in exchange for the chocolate chip cookies Ruth Graves Wakefield made so popular back in 1937. The survey gave employees the opportunity to honestly and anonymously rate their managers as well as their overall satisfaction with their positions and CLEARLINK as an employer.
More than 120 of the short surveys were turned in, amounting to the consumption of over 120 of Ms. Wakefield's chocolatey confections and cold cartons of milk.
CLEARLINK prides itself in taking care of its employees, its customers and its community. Over the past year, CLEARLINK has diligently worked to become the best place to work in Utah by striving to improve company-wide employee satisfaction. In addition to the creation of several programs to enhance personal and professional development, CLEARLINK has taken it a step further, asking for honest employee feedback and implementing change where needed.
On Monday, CLEARLINK continued the celebration by volunteering with the Boys and Girls Club of Salt Lake City, and delivering cookies and milk to their after school programs. Children and CLEARLINK employees played together before enjoying the treats.
"It was really fun to see the kids get so excited about just having someone to play with." Jeanette Ralphs, a CLEARLINK employee and volunteer, said.
For CLEARLINK and its employees, National Chocolate Chip Day couldn't have been sweeter.
