CLEARLINK Employees Clean Out the Closet and Get Paid
CLEARLINK sales professionals are making a difference in the lives of children in Utah by participating in clothing drive for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah
Salt Lake City, April 19, 2010 - CLEARLINK Technologies partners with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah in an ongoing clothing drive that not only provides incentives for CLEARLINK employees to do better at work, but also creates an opportunity for them to give back to the community by providing clothing for those that desperately need it.
CLEARLINK's Director of Operations, Brandon Russell, organized the clothing drive in connection with an incentive program to help employees develop better self discipline as they adhere more strictly to the company's daily schedules and policies. Sales representatives with the highest adherence are rewarded with $50 to spend on new clothes. Each week, four winners are selected. Before they receive the $50 award they must first donate an article of clothing from their closet to one of the Big Brothers Big Sisters bins located throughout the office.
"We got the employees excited by providing an incentive that helps both themselves and the community. Programs like this make our employees better people and in turn better employees," said Brandon Russell. "We just got them started, once they saw that it was for a good cause they took it from there."
The entire CLEARLINK staff is participating in the clothing drive, not just the adherence winners. During just the one month since the beginning of the drive, CLEARLINK employees have filled more than six 50 gallon drums with donations. According to John Gold, Director of Community Partnership for Big Brothers Big Sisters, these are the best results they have ever had with the clothing drive.
CLEARLINK is a strong supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters, and strives to make a difference in the lives of Utah children by aiding the organization in helping children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with mentors that have a measureable impact.
